Whitesnake - fool for ya lovin solo
ok here is my improv solo for fool for ya lovin by the evr so splendid Whitesnake. Used the Sykes patch for this. Tweaked delay up a bit.
I left all my string noise in etc did not want to edit it out. It lets you hear the natural realistic tone you get from GNX3000.
Used my trusty OLP Luke guitar for this.
Let me know what you think :P

anyways its all rock and roll 8)
he used to get that sloppy kind of moody feel like that ...with string nuances
i like your skillful playing, esp. the harmonics and the tapping. The lead-sound is amazing, i really liked to hear it.
c ya
I try and record over backing tracks whenever I practice Then listen back and improve on my forthcomings.
Right now I am working on the Unforgiven *metallica*.....there is a little section in that (middle area) that is hard to get down when trying to record it. Also I am having to really work on my bends on that one.
I used to play that solo live and always thought I was nailing it. Now I have just recorded it using my GNX3k...I notice I am way off in places. It is amazing when you practice at home just through an amp etc you think you are doing good. Yet if you record your practice sessions you realize all the areas you need to work on.
I think recording is a whole other ball game anyways. I have an ibook with 256MB of Ram...I am using Garageband and I know I would get on better with recording if I had more RAm in my ibook.
Anyways, that was a really rough solo I did over Fool for your lovin the other nite when I was tired. I can still listen back and think it was kind of fun, except for the bum notes.
Oh well that is rock and roll 8)
Nice playing dude! Keep posting...
