MFX Supermodels

I was hoping someone could answer this question about MFX Supermodels.
Will the presets sound just as good as the demo files on a solid state amp?
Or does a person need to use a tube amp? I have a Crate FXT120 Twin combo and a Crate G130C XL head going through a Quantum stack both are solid state.
My next question is once a person buys the MFX Supermodels are they issued a user name and password to access the monthly updated files?

You don't need a tube amp. Solid state amp might actually work better, on a clean channel. Many people here use PA-type systems, keyboard amps, and transparent power amps with their GNXs. Ultimate Series users can register and will receive a password once they do.

What Iliace said is true. But what I have found is that there are very little difference between my all tube fender Pro Jr at home. And My Marshall MG30 Solid State at Church for my stage monitor. I have found that the patches I audition from that disk and Supermodel Updates at home on the all tube sound just as well over the solid state amp at Church. You should be fine!!!

I missed the last part of your question. You have to be an Ultimate user and if you are you purchase Ultimate package you go to the Supermodel website and register to gain accsess. here is the link

So do the GNX3000 Supermodels get you access?

The patches sound amazing! And a solid state amp infact works much better than a tube amp because of the flat response of the amp. You get much less coloration of the sound. I use a 65 watt custom amp on the the clean chanel with the eq set to a flat response and then through a celestion green back equiped speaker cab. I've tryed to use some of the patches through my Marshal and Peavey heads but the tone is not as nice as through a none tube amp.
