ok i started on this song a while ago and never finished it so i sat down last night and came up with this recording there's a few changes that i need to make but would like to hear some feedback.

and i was true to my word 8) real classy iron maiden-esque shred fest!! metal fans shoul;d definately check it out = you can really play =- i thought the sound was a little odd though, i wonder whatr speaker comp setting you were using? = but playcing and composition was awesome!

I thought it was Killer...I especially liked the arpegios in the stops (diminished?)...plus that \"pedal point\" lick --I use that alot, except you put a new twist on the ending notes (I'm stealing it!)

I couldn't get much out of the bass and the supporting guitars because my speakers are very crappy at work, but is the solo volume a bit higher than the others? That would be my first observation, crank up the drums and other instrumets a little.

but as for as the shredding , actually made me want to go home and pick up my guitar again (for the SECOND time in some months)

May I ask what patch did you use for the solo?
