This might be worth listening to...

Thanks in advance to anyone who takes the time to hear this. Any constructive criticism will be greatly appreciated. This time around I played all three guitar parts (used my Tele and \"Guitar2Bass\" for the base line, though it's difficult to hear regardless of what I've tried, sounds more like percussion).

I'm sure everyone will recognize the drummer... Rock 10, I don't think it's half bad (better than my guitar anyhow) but it would be nice to be able to sync intros and endings like we do with our Casio. I may use it's drum machine in the future.

So give it a go if you got a minute. Anything you guys can tell me to help my music or recording skills will be welcome!

Thanks again! (did I mention I'm having a blast?)

recording wise I think the mix was good and the most important thing is you had a blast doing and we had fun listening. Keep on keepin on and we will all get bettewr and better.
I soon hope to put a song on here too ( when I figure it out) .Was it hard to do?

  • Mix has gotten better...
    Playing shows improvement as well..
    Keep it up bud..
  • Thanks guys! :D

WOGS858, no I didn't think it was hard. It might have been if there wasn't so much great information available, but everyone here has already been through the worst of it and has documented their efforts so well. Craig Anderson's \"Power Users Guide\" helped a lot too. Also the MFX super models package and the info enclosed helped me understand the GNX even more clearly.

There is still a lot for me to learn, both about recording and the GNX and playing in general. But you've come to the right place (just listen to some of the music these guys are putting up).

Tal, as always thanks man. I very much appreciate your input and learn from everything you guys have to share. The one thing that surprises me is the music I make. In some cases not even music that I've listened to in years, it comes out of no where. I haven't listen to metal in some time now, but out of nowhere, I do a little metal tune. Very interesting.

My playing ability has a long way to go, but every day another light bulb goes on. Thanks everyone for stopping by to listen and help out.
