  • Hey Matt,
I listened to all your tunes @MySpace - they're just terrific! I'm not normally a fan of the 'metal' sound because it can just get so muddy, but you've kept everything crisp, articulated and soaring; this even with a mono mix. I love the twin work on the new demo. Only suggestion is spread things around a little in a stereo re-mix.
    Great job!! - g
  • I agree with granitehead, double guitars added a whole new dimension to this new song, (which was one of my comments to your previous post) looking forward to for the rest
  • Nice chops Matt, liked the tunes at myspace, keep 'em comin' :D
  • Nice chops Matt..
I was expecting a guy from Bakersfield to be playing Dwight Yoakum, Merle Haggard.. :P
    But it really rocks.. 8)
    Not saying Merle doen't rock.. :) .
    But yeah dude,
you do got some pretty nice stuff and chops going on as well.. 8)
    Enjoyed it. 8) .
    See Ya,
    Tal..
  • I gave a listen to all your posts. Solid musicianship but I feel if you want your work to go to the next level you need to get some great drum samples like (Drums on Demand) and fire the GNX Drumer, except for practice sessions (LOL). You will be glad you elevated your sound.

    LOL
  • Very well done! Heavy, grinding... fast. You have my permission to quit your day job (and hire a new drummer <LOL>). The base line was a little less defined then it could have been. Still this demonstrates great flexibility on the fret board and serious high speed accuracy.
