  Thanks a lot, I really appreciate it! I haven't played slide in probably 15 years.... I'm a \"metal guy\", so having the slide on my pinky felt strange to me. The sound is all due to guitar3456, the patch is his zak1987 patch with no changes made to it. I think I used the red channel on the rhythm/slide and the green on the lead. Maybe I'll go back and double the rhythm track to fatten it up, I did that on all the Randy Rhoads stuff I recorded.
  
  Oh, I had to cheat and punch in those last arpeggios in the end of the solo right after the fast pentatonic picking part as there was no way I could make that change sound smooth. I hate punching in solos, always makes me feel like I am cheating but I guess it is just another tool to use to get a good recording done.
