I love Maiden, seen em 3 times live. Seen Dickinson on the Accident of Birth tour as well.

Do you dig his solo stuff? I think Accident of Birth and The Chemical Wedding are 2 of the best albums in metal.

Anyway, GREAT JOB on the covers.

I do indeed like Bruce's solo stuff, I have Balls to Picasso, Chemical wedding and Tyranny of Souls. All of them are really great cd's.

Tyranny is an awesome album as well as the earlier ones, i like playing tears of the dragon i should cover it lol

i haven't listened to tears of a dragon is a looong time. that is a fantastic song....i'll have to dig that cd out so i can check it out again.

I've seen Maiden live only once on the Brave New World tour back in 2000. To this day it remains the greatest show i've ever seen in person.

it's hard to tell from your nickname that yer a maiden fan mr. mariner, lol

that song is one of my all time Maiden favorites, also on my list to cover...all 13 minutes of it 8)

Nice Job Jimz0! how come never any vocals on the maiden tunes? Also i gotta know how you get so close on the guitar tones... do you tweak for hours or sumthin?

No vocals yet because i can't sing anywhere close to bruce dickinson's range lol. they will be added in the future though!

as for the guitar tone, i'm using a couple different patches, the fatshred patch, big duck, and lynchmob patches, when mixed and eq'd give a really nice tone to the guitar tracks.

Hey neat, that fatshred is my new favourite patch

The clean tone is almost makes my strat sound like an f-body style. I couldn't find the one you call the bick duck though. Is that in the gnx3 form also? yeah Bruce has got to have the greatest metal voice of all time, but i bet your voice could add something to them tunes

The Big Duck patch is a default patch that comes with the GNX2

I tried...for some reason my machine reboots when I try to run GenEdit and connect to the GNX2 via MIDI...i used to be able to do it in the past.

so, i will try again tomorrow to get to that patch, but I did get something done today:
