Canadian 2031A owners..help!

Now that I'm finally back home and have alittle cash to burn,I'm lookin for the best Canadain price on some 2031A's. Tried Axe Music @ $519.00 for a pair,is there a better price out there and what did you pay for your's if you gott'em?
Have'nt looked at E-bay,yet, and don't know if thats the road I wanna take on something like studio monitor's.
Any suggestions on other monitor's are welcome as well.(in that same or less price range)

$519.00 sounds right! I got mine from Long and Mcquades. I think they have a store in Vancouver? Give them a call and see what they can do. They have price matched a few things for me from Musicians Friend.com
Check out Musicians Friend.com as they are finally starting to ship some items to Canada. They will display a maple leaf under the price for items they do ship here.

The 2031a's are amazing! I highly recommend them, you won't be disappointed. You can also get a subwoofer if you need some more bottom. These things already have alot of bottom end so I think the subwoofer is only necesarry if you have some neighbors you don't like.

Guitar3456 has the subwoofer and loves it.

I bought mine at Tom Lee and I think I paid about that.

But check it out: Musicians Friend has them for $340 which is $395 Cdn at todays exchange rate AND hey ship 'em to Canada. There you go you just saved over $100 - wish I got that deal!

Hey All,

Got mine at Long & McQuade Calgary. Paid the same about $520. P.G., I don't think you can do better in that price range than the 2031a's. If you search 2031a's you will find most GNX'ers you got 'em love 'em.

BTW Smeg, dont forget to add shipping cost and gst :x AND customs fees :x AND brokers fees if you use UPS :x . That US deal catches up in cost to the said $520 pretty quickly. ne1, I heard those subs reaallly boom, you gotz?

Hey Dobb, I don't have the sub yet. Too many other things on the list but I will get them eventually. I am happy with what the 2031's sound like without the sub so its not priority at this time. How about yourself, are they on the list?

Thanks for the responses guys.I think your all right about the best price being in the $520.00 range.I'll be makin a trip to Vancouver the first week of Jan. for a little shopping and take in a Canucks game.
The matching sub for the 2031A's is gonna be a later purchase(can't wait to shake this place)
