Which 12\" speakers would you choose as a replacement ?

0K, I have decided to replace the speakers in my 4x12 cab which seems to be a blackhole, a Crate GX412S which has I'm sure Eminence design speakers of which I am told are modeled after Jenson design(not a good sound with the GNX4). So, my Question to you all is if it was YOUR decision which replacements would you use and why and in what configuration ie mixed or matched.

What I have now is an Ibanez RG with Evo/Evo pups,Crate stereo power amp 200 watts at 8 Ohms mono or 100ish watts at 4ohms per side going into the Gnx4. I plan to eventually have a Tube head or powerAmp so that is a factor in the desicion also.

Yes I did but I was thinking more along the lines of the Eminence Modeling 12`s too or mixing the 2

Angled cab? Mod 12's on tops, G12t75's on the bots. Don't be alarmed by how tight the paper is on the Mod 12's...that's normal. Make sure not to mess with the cab impedance. If you had 16 ohm speakers, get the same. If they were 8 ohm..get 8's. Mixing 8's and 16's improperly can create havoc on your guitar amp.
