xedit software not working on mac g5 osx 10.3

I have the pedal connected to my computer, and the software installed before i connect it. Once the pedal is on and the usb light is lit, i go to launch the pogram. When i do, it bounces in the dock for 2 or 3 bounces and then goes bye bye. It hasn't run once. I have the latest verison downloaded from the digitech site. Any leads?

    yes this is the only version i have tried. I didnt instally any of the software that came packaged with the pedal. I don't have protracks installed, or anything, i just installed xedit 1.5 from the website. I bought the pedal from guitar center, and i am testing out it to see if its worth keeping. There are already a few things that have disapointed me about it, but I want to give it an honest shot with this patch editor, to see if i can get the sounds i want, and organize them well enough to use for songs and in performance. I am mostly using this with turntables, but I also will use it with bass and guitar.

    again, the usb active light is lit, the program just never starts up, even after i restart my computer and everything. :?

    I had this same error on X-edit, failed to run.; 1.0 on panther with my laptop. When 1.5 came out my system loaded. What version of panther do you have? I was running 10.3.9. Works better under Tiger now and I have upgraded to Tiger on both machines. You can do everything that a PC can do except load custom cabnet models. That feature is not working yet, but Roger (digitech) is working on that.
    Does your USB connedtion work? Can you hit the store button on the flash memory and the GNX mount? Button on the far left of GNX. I am at work right now so doing this from memory. Pro Tracks is for windows. You would load Bias SE for MAC. Neither of these will effect X-Edit. Also try d/l X-edit again. 1st go into finder and remove the X-edit folder, and under \"MAC HD\"; Libary and remove the x-edit folder also. This is all I can remember here.
