  In the back of your manual, there are model numbers for power supplies that work in your area. My best suggestion would be to get one of those.

  but is there are other way that i can atleast modify the adaptor so as not to buy a new one. Those adaptor you're recommending might not be available here in the philippines.

  get a 220V to 110 V converter..
  
  i have used one. so u can connect the 110V power supply to the converter.. with no problem

  tnx. how much does it cost? and is it big. I just don't want an extra thing to carry on gigs. As long as it's small and not heavy is fine with me

  u should search around the market..
  
  i am in nepal.. we have both chinese and indian converters here...
  
  i have a converter thats no bigger than the box of the adapter u got with GNX4. there are no wires.. so u can tape it with the 2-pin of the adapter so by no chance u connect it to 220 directly...
  
  i think u got that.
  
  happy searching. it was cheap.. around US $6 so to say...

  Thanks maharzan for recommending a converter. I have bought one unde $6 and it works fine. Now I can transport my unit to anywhere I like without carrying those big ugly transformerjavascript:emoticon(':D')
