GNX4 upgrade?

I am looking at a used GNX4. Can anyone tell me if there is any advantage to buying a new one other than having a valid warranty. I understand that there are free downloading upgrades at the DigiTec website so I should be able to get the latest firmware version. Have any of the upgrades improved the factory presets? That seems to be the biggest complaint about the GNX4. DigiTec should want to showcase the unit with impressive presets since the sounds are apparently potentially awesome. What improvements will the GNX5 bring and how fare off is it?

    Hi, warranty is about it.. Users that say a GNX4 is less than they desire most likely have not even attempted to learn anything of it. I have videos and other tutorials at my site..you can check it out as well. See my signature!

    there is no GNX\"?\" above the GNX4 as of yet. GNX3000 replaces the GNX2 but nothing on a 5 yet..maybe next fall or so.

    Xedit V1.3 fixes reported bugs from previous versions.

    Digitech's out-of-warranty repair policy is pretty good too: Flat $85 + shipping to fix anything. I bought mine used and it broke 9 mos later. Digitech actually only charged $75 and they picked up the return shipping. It was in their hands only 3 days. Darn good service.

    Ron free....check out those FMX links from G3456, Gnx4 is an amazing unit with so many features that you must really take a look at tuterals. Both here and at G3456 website. Gnx4 and G3456 has changed my approah to sound and how to get it.
