Pro tracks crashed again.
<div style="displaynone">fiogf49gjkf0d</div>Hi all,
I finally got pro-tracks up and running on the laptop.! then the next day i fire it up and it wont run.? Then i un-install and re-install on the same day and it all works again ... then the next day it won't run !!!
Then i un-install and re-install and it works again and i'm thinking ... Finally i got it right .. but on the same session i decide to test it and power down and re-boot to prove it wasn't a fluke ... and it STILL won't run ...after all the re-boots and re-installs i think it just wasn't / isn't gonna work ? why does it work immediately after installation .. but after i switch off and power up the next day it's broken ? The only thing that gets it up and running is re-install ??? got me beat ?
Any tips appreciated.

But when i switch the whole thing off and plug it all back in the following day the program itself won't open ?
Sometimes x-edit will run when protracks won't, and sometimes they both won't run ?
Mainly protracks just won't.
Can the GNX run usb through any other recording software ?
I have a version of acid pro 5 .
thanks again.
even if the Laptop cant see the GNX plugged into USB it should still open and tell you there's no MIDI devices attached = so im thinking its probably down to the laptop/install/OS...
i think you're right about the laptop.
Its a cheap samsung x20 with xp home.
maybe the samsung or the crappy integrated sound unit or the combination of all just won't allow it ?
thanks again for the feedback.
maybe it's one of the factory programs running in the background, causing a conflict.
Oh yeah ... the error message is a windows message not a pro tracks error...???
