I posted this in an earlier thread, but I have v 1.3. I actually received it from Digitech support. If there's not a problem with me doing it, I will upload this tonight and post a link here.
Once u have 1.3 installed when you go to new preset the volume on volume pedal is off. So just turn the volume up. Just a heads up. It is really nice... thanks digi and Albert!
Will X-edit 1.3 run on a Win98SE machine? 1.21 seems to run OK but when I try to start up X-edit 1.3, I am getting a user32.dll error (a pointer to a .dll not found or some such-like error occurs). The error message \"smells\" like a call being made (or pointer) from within X-Edit 1.3 is not compatible with the user32.dll that resides on Win98SE. This is unfortunate as I have been able to make good use (which I would otherwise have long ago discarded) of an old Win98SE laptop as my portable music/rehearsal jukebox and controller for Band-in-box and other MIDI tools and utilities, my AXON, the GNX3 editor and X-edit 1.21 but the laptop is not capable of being upgraded to WinXP (too slow, too little memory, but just useful enough and fast enough and memory enough for MIDI and MP3 play). Can X-Edit 1.3 be made to run on a Win98SE computer? If so, can somebody advise me, please?
1.2 and 1.21 claimed my MIDI ports were in use even after I disabled all other devices and uninstalled all other software. I've reinstalled the drivers and the software (several times).
1.3 says it's unable to load DigiComm.dll The DLL is in the application folder; I placed it in System32 and restarted, but that didn't work either.
I'm running XP Pro SP2 with the latest .NET 2.0, (but 1.2x failed to launch even with .NET 1.1)
:?
I'm not accustomed to having problems like this. I typically know what I'm doing and I usually figure it out. I'd welcome any new ideas right now.
There seems to be a problem with the Digicomm.dll and windows XP SP2... E-mail digitech for the updated dll, that seem to fix another member's problem.
OK I exztracted x-edit 1.3, I installed the x-edit. But when I double click on the setup wizard it says that dotnetfx.exe cannot be found. What do I do?
Ok now there is another problem? I double click on X-Edit and it says that my gnx3000 is not connected even though it is. It says for me to make sure the drivers are installed and that my device is connected properly. It is connected properly but I don't know about the drivers? Where can I get them? cause my GNX3000 didn't come with a software disc.
