problem with pro tracks please help

pro tracks works fine until i turn on the GNX ?
I plugged and unplugged everything...
I re-installed everything ...
there must be something i'm missing ?
any help would be appreciated.
I followed the manual to the rule ?

If you are using Widows XP, make sure you have Service Pak 2 and the .NET Framework installed from Microsoft.

I had x-edit running for a couple of days.
But now not working.?
Maybe i tweaked something without knowing?

Assuming that you've heeded all instructions in the manual, this protocol is a sure-fire way to get USB devices to work:

1. While in Windows, attach USB to GNX;
2. Turn GNX on;
3. Reboot machine.

Rebooting has always done the trick for me, with GNXs and other audio interfaces.
