  • I've always been a fan of LIVE bass vs's sampled midi stuff. I bought a cheap Rondo jazz bass awhile back and am currently running it thru a small console to Mackie HR 824's. I'm sure the Behringers will do the trick for ya! They are nice speakers and there are a few GNX'ers here that use them and are happy!

    FWIW
  • Hey Guys;

    I didn't really like the delay with the guitar 2bass patches, so I went out and bought a squier MB-5 string. I sometimes use my (warwick) bass amp as a preamp into the 1/4 ins of the GNX4, then out to a behringer mixer feeding a pair of 2031's...much better.

    I also own the superseries models. I use the bass models as well with my bass and disable the pitch shifting, some sweet tones there too. Both the bass and the models are definately worth the investment!! :D

    Peace,
    Dobb.
  • Dobb you are right on super series I use the trace elliott with my schecter bass direct usb and the best tone I ever got for a bass sound.

    And yes those monitoer will sond fine for your bass smegolas

  • Excellent news :D I have been using the new bass patches and though they are much better than the stock ones...after a couple of weeks I see that they are still just for place holding I just borrowed a bass (factor)at home right now I :wink: will try taking the pitch shifting off and plug in that way thanks great post.
