Piezo Bridge

I'm thinking about putting a piezo bridge in my latest project guitar. I have a few questions about them, but the main question is how do they sound??? Particularly, how do they sound through the GNX? I know what they're supposed to sound like, but how well do they do it?

If possible, maybe somebody could post a clip

Hey thanks 300m! Don't do anything fancy, just strum a couple of chords, play a couple licks etc. I only want to get an idea of how it'll sound through the GNX

I checked out the Craig Chaquico stuff, but he was playing mostly the thin line acoustic. I'm looking more for the sound of a solid body electric with the piezo bridge. I liked his Cafe Carnival tune, BTW. Reminded me a bit of Santana or maybe Al Dimeola-although the tapping part seemed a bit gratuitous :roll:

Here you go. Pizeo test Pizeo test

Done on my Carvin DC127 straight into the GNX, I was direct no amps here.
Bridge bucker, Pizeo, blend 50% I have a pot to do this.
Penatonic: Bucker then Pizeo

Thanks John, that's exactly the type of clip I was looking for. It really has a pretty nice acoustic tone-maybe not a Martin, but comparable to many acoustic/electrics I've heard. And without the feedback problems, boominess etc.

BTW, that link didn't work for me, it gave me an error message. Not sure what happened, but the track you posted is Here

I stuck a Ghost transducer system in my Gibson 135. The acoustic sound that comes out is very nice and clean. However if I had to do it again, I would probably place it in a solid body instead. Because the pickup is so sensitive, it picks up sounds from the floating tailpiece. So I have to be careful where I place my wrist. My other option is to do without the floating tailpiece and put in a stop bar instead. Not sure I want to do that because it affects the look of the guitar. Still a good system though!

Yeah I listened to that test and there was alot of difference.
