Well, after 2mths of waiting!

8) It's finally happening.Grand Cayman IsLand,here I come.Thats right, I'm on my way to work in the Cayman's for about 2mths.Going to be istalling the flooring for The Ritz Carlton Hotel and Resort,fun fun fun!!(Man I hope they have a guitar store there) and Hopefully the hurricane's can calm down for awhile.
Anyone think I should open a bank account while I'm there :lol:
So my next posts will be coming to you pool side from the Ritz.

    No,but I hear it's some of the best in the world.Not a big call for scuba insrtuctor's is the great white north,north :lol: I am gonna do some (snorcalling??) though. Should be a blast. 8)

    Well gentalmen,and ladies,Life in the Cayman's is amazing,and yes I'm havin the time of my life.
    Going to check out the local music store on the weekend(sticker shock is probly gonna kill me :lol: ) Ya stuff is a little rich here,but most of my expense are covered,so I can splurge alittle.
    The weather is hot and the Bud is Cold,what more could a guy ask for? :D I know that can be a loaded question(most of the ladies are as hot as the weather :lol: )
    Going to go on a boat tour this weekend as well,that drops you in the water with the manta rays,they say, they will eat right out of your hand,should be very cool.
    I'll keep you all posted on a regular basis!(sorta a journal of my trip)
    So week one down,six to go!

    Whats that miss,another beer!? you betch!

    Hello to all,wow what a weekend.First a little snorcaling in this little reef about 1/2 an hour boat ride off the coast.Can't remember the name,but breath taken just the same,And I mean that,I've never sucked so much sea water up in my life :lol: .Seen so many different type's of fish and coral,can't wait to do it again.
    Then back into the boat for another 10 min ride to a place they call Sting ray City. The name says it all.We're not even out of the boat,and these amazing creature's are swinging all around us,wanting to be petted and feed,they are quit pushy by the way.No one was in any danger ,at any time,of being stung,which made me feel alot better about being in the water with them :shock:
    Then off to dinner and cocktails :) (paid for by the boss) 8) to a place called McCoys,great prime rib.
    Then finished the night off at a bar on the beach for a full moon party. 8) The moon lighting up the beach,thunder clouds miles off the coast provided the light show,and a couple of DJ's spinn'in some really funky dance music.Meet up with some people from B.C.,and one dude from my home town of P.G. and the party was full scream ahead,Canadian style 8)
    Next I'm hope'in the boss is gonna spring for a round of golf :D
    Never did make it to the music shop yet,I got plenty of time for that later,but man is my playing gonna suck even more by the time I get home :lol:

    Man, PG, what a deal.......I was in the Carribean 10 years ago and have been wanting to go back ever since......didn't do the Caymans, but did PR, Virgin Islands, St. Maarten, Dominica, and Martinique on a cruise (hope I spelled them right LOL), but I remember in the VI, you could get a bottle of rum cheaper than a bottle of beer.....and for the US, anyway, you can bring back, used to be 6 or 7 bottles per person.......I stocked up on Rum, Coconut Rum, Kahlua, etc. 7 bottles cost me like 25 bucks :)

    Oh, and the jewelery was really cheap too..........

    Maybe not that way in the Caymans, but worth looking into :)

    Did you take a digital camera?

    Have a blast down there, you'll remember how to play guitar LOL :)

    Well all good things must come to an end :( Turns out the hotel is about 3-4 weeks away from being ready for us to go in and getter done,so we are only getting $50US a day for lost time,well Caymans or not I can make 50 bucks in half an hour back home,and get to tuck my little girl into bed every night. Don't get me wrong, this place is pretty cool.But not a this pace.
    So plane tickets have been changed,hotels booked,and I got one :evil: pi$$ed :evil: off wife to go home to.
    So anyone in Montreal wanna hook up Tuesday night? :lol:
