OH REALLYY!

I just saw Phil Donahue pummel Bill Oh Really,I must say bill is one of the most hateful and ignorant human beings out there,a PROMOTER of ignorance that is.It's always nice to see a bully confronted and intelligently dealt with.

  • LOL.....You think??
    I saw that debate too, and I think that the both of them were able to get their point across.
  • I have seen Phil on Bill's show twice now, (actually only caught the tail end of the one the other night) but from that i guess Phil is well aware of Bill's a**hole-istic approach to dealing with his guests and always getting the last word in. The first time Phil was on there he told Bill that he was not going to get the last word in on him and was not going to be treated the way he treated the rest of his guests. Phil got the last word in then and this was probably the pre arrangement for his second visit. I have to admit i was a little blown away to see O Reilly agree with Phil on all of the mistakes in Iraq with the one exception of being there to root out terrorists. Bill's show like most news on TV caters to an ideology. I really think that FOX found a winner with this show and the rest of their reporting based on an oversimplification of the facts. Most politics are too complicated for the common individual to sort out and comprehend for themselves so by painting a more black and white report it is easier for viewers to feel like they can participate in viewpoint. This of course is further founded by the fact that news is all \"theater\" these days. It's all sad, so very, very sad.
  • To sum it up D.we live in a country mainly of perception vs. reality,and that is really sad.
  • It is odd that media has made the world a smaller place (the global village if you will). Too much information in the end. A lot of folks claim to know the \"right vs. wrong\", but that's just too easy. I'd prefer to just get the facts and make my own decison whenever possible. you know \"flat response\" no color added.
    man that was cheezy :roll:
    :wink:

    Bill O'Reilly has some firm opinions, but I don't think he is hateful or ignorant. Phil Donahue is as big, if not a bigger bully than O'Reilly, and rude and opinionated himself. Any intelligence he has is washed away by his emotions.

    That being said, I'm glad I live in a place where both sides can be heard. And like DFG, I would just like to hear it straight.
  • We.I mean the United States goverment is fighting this war for corporations and capitalism,nothing more or less,just business as usual.People like Bill OH Reallyy are dangerous because they SELL a perception that is only an illusion,and the dumb mindless rats consume and digest a fantasy.........It's all in the set-up,just like any good con will tell you.So as any of you sit back and worship false hero's(the poor and lower middle class(working poor)who no one gives a rats ass about until they believe they are fighting to protect their lexus,big house and comfort both mentally and physically,well hell yes I support the troops also.God save my perception of life at any(anyone's)cost.),I on behalf of the top 1%,Hallibuton,lobbyist,and any every Corporation in America thank you from the bottom of my bank account.By the way,God bless America and God bless you Bill OH Reallyy!
  • I'm not sure what impresses me more, the profound depth of your arguement, or the articulate manner in which it was presented.
  • It depends on how you look at things. That depends on how you may be affected. Genocide is wrong by all accts. Whoever commits those atrocities should be taken out ..period! We waited too long on Hitler, we waited too long in Bosnia, We made a joke out of Somalia. Insurgencey post war has been common from every war. Todays satellites just bring it to your table. Japanese fought relentlessly for 15 years post WWII. Bombings , murdering construction workers in their sleep..things you never heard about. Colonists that aided British massed attacks of citizens through the mid 1800's long after the Declaration was signed. The Civil wars continued long after Gettysburg..Today it's popular culture to bash our government, bad news sells. We will never hear anything good out of any war by the media. Politicizing the efforts are common. Look at the latest non seated reps bashing over Hurricanes? No Pres has control over that. Spouting off for political gain is common in all ranks. No matter which side of the fence..someone has to be blamed. Just like the Hurr mess, there are policies in which US Armed forces are used...per the CONSTITUTION. There is an order in which they must adhere..local, state, then Federal..firing the Fema mgrs and other reps was a smoke screen to shut people up!! It was easier than explaining the procurement of armed forces.

    Most people don't have one inkling of understanding how complex the UN, USA or any other government is ran. It's fact that most that are polled are not even registered, or active in any realm. Enough of that...read some collegiate level History books if you really want to know since most facts about wars, politics are omitted in basic education. If you are educated by newspapers, magazines, and news media on TV...get the books out. Citizenship is not about what government provisions are made. It's about what provisions are made guided by the people that participate in the act of legislation. Freedom to express yourself is one thing..practicing what you preach is another. I say that because Mr Donahue has a huge history of leading to what is popular. I respect his right, but I do not respect the level of mistaking his platform, just like many other celebrities that have an axe to grind but no facts to back their argument. That's what Mr Oreilly was presenting to Mr Donahue. Call it bullying, but it's no different from what Donahue did with his audience and his \"JEER\" lights flashing to his audience. Behind the scenes, it's a different story. Talk to the troops like I have, that have been involved in the \"Good\" out of Iraq. Talk to officials like I have, that have full knowledge of the chain of command in deploying troops for Emergency aid. Right of wrong, the rules that are in place must be followed to maintain the order. Change can only be made after what doesn't work is evident. Look at the Response and preparedness of our country for Rita. We live... we learn, we adapt, we adopt legislation. That's how it works. If you prefer otherwise, contact your officials who make the rules...or vote them out of office. It's that easy ! Dem or Rep..doesn't matter..all sides can have valid points..if you want that voice heard, speaking here alone will not get it done. participate..its your right !! As far as Oreilly and Donahue..they are celebrity entertainers just like Limbaugh and Stern. What you get from any of those guys is mosty likely to be your brainsoaked idealogies. Simple..read, review, make practical and not hasty judgements that have no facts. Many of these guys will have their foot in their mouths..sooner or later. Donahue was cancelled for those reasons..he did not retire btw. He politicized his show..his views..and his popularity folded. Now you have my take on Americans role in gov't. Remeber, action always speaks louder than words.. so most Americans that do not act responsibly.. it's just words..validate your words by using the system USA was founded on. For the people..by the people!
  • I'm pretty sure Donahue was cancelled because of his ratings. At the time the country was very \"pro\" Iraq and Mr. Donahue was not following the mainstream by any means... ultimately that unpopular viewpoint got him cancelled. I also think that some of his weird and uncomfortable facial gestures must have contributed also…. :wink: . It is more than obvious to me that the consensus and opinion of the common man is made based on news media and not of much to do with the history books. Polls showing this or that are just another forum of \"theater\" and are tools to entertain. The polls were saying Kerry in last years elections, and i was blown away when this country re-elected Mr. Bush, just as i was blown away when the senate made the decision to invade Iraq as i also was when they gave the election to Bush over Gore in 2000, although these latter two had nothing to really do with the citizens choice. :cry: History books tell me that i am more liberal than conservative, well at least in today's climate. That is somewhat of an oversimplification but it does come down to some basic fundamentals between the many conservative friends i have and myself. There are these fundamental differences but we still manage to get along, as some of my very best freinds are pretty conservative. I see this everywhere and this has to go a long way into balancing our society out as i hope happens in the judicial system as well as every branch of government. I never agreed with moving into Iraq and don't agree with it now. The fact that \"again, polls for whatever they are worth\" show 66% of the country wanting to exit now is extremely heartbreaking as i see this as too late.

    Guitar3456 you have spoke before about your friends in certain departments of the military / government and how it is difficult for the common citizen to understand to complexity that they are faced with every day, I can understand this. How bout this side of it though, i don't know of many who head up these departments but i do know soldiers who have served in Iraq and 5 out of 6 of them don't see an end to this situation. You speak of the media only concentrating on the \"bad\" side of the policies, but these soldiers have assured me that we have seen very little in terms of the horror of that war. A friend of mine that was a helicopter pilot over there was telling me the other day about getting several missions to take out snipers in Fallugah, where they would be hiding out in buildings and his orders were to bomb the building out. All the time he knew that there was or may be innocent people in those buildings. I think that for every \"positive\" story that is not being told there are also those kinds of stories that put a real face on the true horror of war. We are not seeing the graphic photography coming out of this war that we seen with Vietnam. There are even bans imposed on photographs of military coffins, to some of which many military families take great offense to and find very dishonorable. Maybe this is just an artifact of being under a republican leadership but I don’t know it really feels like this country has turned into something different over the last few years. As a child and a teen growing up in Canada I looked at the U.S. as I think most of the democratic world did and that was a country that lead and set the high mark for acceptance of free speech and alternate points of view. I seen a country that listened to it’s people and realized through their protest that the war in Vietnam was never going to work. This is obviously still here but the right to speak out and take advantage of the freedoms seems to come with a stigma now days. This criticism that if you are a celebrity or disagree with certain policies you couldn’t possibly know what you are talking about. There are so many well educated actors and musicians versed from both, our history books and those of the.... hummmm “losers of certain wars”. I find it incredible that protest is met with comparisons of soldiers being spat at when returning home from the Vietnam war. Why hippies were blamed for those acts I can only guess, but i'm pretty sure it has to do with a generalization in which to create an unfavorable appearance and attitude towards anyone who speaks of peace and diplomacy these days. You are correct we are never going to be read by enough people / politicians on this forum to make any kind of a difference. Unfortunately, “and I do believe the news is getting this correct” the situation and loss of lives will have to be very great before there is a change. I cannot change an ideology with my mute ramblings / songs that no one hears :roll: , I don’t even think Green Day, Springsteen, combined can do it.
    Sad, very sad.

  • I concurr with your viewpoint. As far as Celebs, there are a few that understand the nature of politics, but most are as irresponsible with their 15 minutes. Cut the audience, their views or bullpulpit is to entertain themselves, because nobody will be watching.

    Iraq, 3 of my neighbors kids and two of my nephews, Bro in Law are serving over there. My Son may be involved if he serves. Most of the time that I have talked to them, they see the appreciation of their efforts from Iraqi's themselves. Changing over from a dictator controlled empire to a democracy is a challenge in itself. US is not above anyone, and it's shameful many think so. I've been exposed to many cultures in my lifetime and most are not like this nation that is still in its infancy by comparison. Hundreds and thousands of years their cultures have basically been unchanged other than technology advances. Their methods, ideologies, morality, committment to eachother is still the same.
    So it's nieve of us to assume the middle east yet alone US would see our move as a good one.

    Yes, many of my friends and relatives are now serving in various levels including nephews in combat. If you go back and think about the first beheading..no..we can't show that..WHY NOT.. I think people here would have said..Kill those so and so's. Yes, beheadings, bodies dumped on the sides of roads are scenes those soldiers deal with. It also feeds their desire to eliminate such a horrible group of people that do that to an innocent NON WAR human being. In all wars..if enemies hold out in a civilian area, were attacking from those areas..yes, they are taken out. You can't ask them to leave.. they will die or you will die. Thats war. My assumption ( here we go) is that after Kuwait..Saudi's were afraid of Saddam trying again. They paid us in oil for security and now that security risk is gone..they thank us by raising prices. I had to laugh at some of the pledges of relief moneys coming in from countries following Katrina..I hope they all remember that. Next time they get pummelled, we'll send em a few bucks.

    Insurrection Laws prohibit the use of military to arm the streets in the case of the Hurr. only if the chain of command and authorization of state and local govt is given can the pres, or any US military cmdr intervene. That is what most media missed. The drama and the scenes were terrible but the law has to be followed regardless. Other states like MISS handled their crisis without military support barring coast guard rescues. The people of that state had things as severe ( in their minds) but acted appropriately. One cannot tell someone how to act, but common sense is needed. IF it was illegal before, it's illegal now. Reports of rape, violence, gangs were proven untrue. Does the medial own up to their lack of facts??NO. I happen to hold them accountable. If CNN is reporting boulderdash..that channel is skipped. Mr Donahue lost his ratings cause the people did something about his rant. Do the same for Oreilly, Stern, OPie and Anthony, 700 Club..if you do not watch..they can't speak out. Some liked Farenheit 911. some said it was a waste of film and would never see it. Freedom..exercised ! For the people, by the people.. no matter where you stand..you make a difference !

    Peace
  • G3456,the descision to invade Iraq was based on three and only three things,finding WMD's and rooting out terrorist that were \"harbored\",and bringing Osama Bin Laden to \"justice\",NOT or EVER was liberating a country part of that.The old Jedi mind trick was pulled on 240 million people and it worked.I will never forget the day(thursday,11:00,in front of a big screen tv)when I saw the words \"operation Iraqi freedom\" flash on the tv and thought to myself they(bush administration)are going to spin this,and Clinton got impeached for a B.J.G3456,everyones reality is based on what they perceive to be true based on their background,education,life experiences,ect.and that is the principal reason for conflict among any two entities(persons,goverments,nations).I read a book in my second year at collage by Howard Zinn called a Peoples history of the United States,and all I can say is that had a huge impact on my outlook of American history and everything I was taught before,its amazing what fairytales are spun in publis schools about \"history\".Are we really that much different than Nazi Germany whose primary tool for controling the mass population was propaganda and fear to gain world domination.Henry Kissinger is the one of the biggest war criminals ever,on the same platform as Hitler.He along with the U.S. helped put the camar rouge in power which led to 4 million cambodians dead,and all the Illegal bombings,but yet he still walks free and is celebrated as an \"American\" icon.So sad to say G3456 that my opinion does not matter,nor does yours or anyone elses.98% of the time the candidate with the most money wins,60% of the wealth is owned by the top 1%.You marval at what a complex machine the U.S. is to understand(100% agree,which in turn lends itself to mass preoccupation trying to understand it) while I often think the real machine they wish to control is the American mind.
  • Just wrote this lengthy post Sorry about that arcturus. But everytime I go to a different window in this forum I have to log in everytime !!! thought this forum was to be easier.
  • Sure now it works when I rant
  • yeah weird it happened to me too, must have timed out.
    Guitar, i think your reaction to the be headings vs. mine is one of the fundamental differences i was speaking of. Yes we are both appalled by acts such as this but you demand revenge, whereas i shake my head and say this is war and this is the hell of it, why, did this happen? I think we all seen enough of that clip on the tele to have formed a reaction. Your theory on the Saudi connection is probably a very realistic one. Jay mentioned several of the other reasons that we were using as a basis to going in there but i think this one is more realistic.... this the one you can't use to sell the war with. If we just wanted to take out Saddam it could have been done with an ops, or a single bomb, no probably not easy.... but in retrospect. When i was speaking of celeb's i wasn't talking about the dude standing there with Mike Myers :) He obviously was not even sure of his own conviction. Sorry bout the long posts aRcTuRuS, i find these topics as frustrating as i do interesting. The people who posted are seemingly quite intelligent you have to respect their enthusiasm and thus their viewpoints.
    :)
  • Long posts are all good haha, there is a forum over here in nz called nzmetal.com and they have some pretty intellegent political debates eh its pretty crazy what some people know, just as you think someone has a mean as arguement, someone comes up with an even better arguement and this continues on haha.
  • Actually, what I was expressing was a hypothetical of what the nations reaction would have been seeing the entire videos of those atrocities. When they flew planes into our buildings we didn't try to understand. All we knew is resolve was pending. Not eye for an eye, but 3200 dead, 450+injured, 116 permanently disabled innocent civilians sure ticked us off. It was scary here to see 4 F15's supersonic trying to catch up to the last jet in PA. Most in this city remember that flyover. I'm not speaking for anyone here, or suggesting likewise. I am saying things based on public opinion. Most media polls are skewed anyway. Asking people in LA, and NYC. Sometimes not, but most media plugs that side. This is what skews opinions since you and I are likely to get less than adequate information to base any fairness in our thoughts. I can only convey as you do, the messages of those that serve. Even those will vary. What this is about is media, and the attention we choose to give them. IF we find an Oreilly, a Donahue, A Dr Phil, Oprah or whoever..and they act irresponsibly..we can shut them down. War is bad no matter which side of the coin you are on..but sometimes, it's a necessary evil. If we never intervened, there would be no US, Europe would be under dictatorship, and China would be as restless over Japan. It's every countries' history as well. We now just have to be cautious of cultures when assisting. From what I hear from servicemen in the field is that it's not our military that concerns them in that region, it's envoking American ideologies and changing their culture that scares them most. The Elders there are the strongholds and the Young, Women, and Minority tribes are the ones most willing to change. Balancing that equation is the toughest part. Families disown memebers who break the traditions, Just as this country did during the early phase of the colonies, pre-revolution. That part is yet to come over there. Our soldiers have been told this is to be expected. We are continually training Iraqi malitia to protect from within. We are also shielding the effort best we can from outside sources of invasions from adversaries. Likewise protecting those neighbors on their borders. To close this out I have been informed and misinformed so it's hard to take a firm stand. Morality says..right thing to do..Suffering the losses and mistaken political judgement says it's wrong. In other words, for me it's a double edge sword. Turning away from the media is a choice. Lastly for the Hurr stuff Mr Donahue jumped on...he forgot to mention that State Soveriegnty would be most affected by Federal Intervention legislation. That is against our current read of the Constitution. Federal authority should remain outside the lines of Local and States provisions unless called upon. The state should respond adequately and timely. The Gov of LA failed that state ( if you go by current law and federal insurrection laws). The pres regardless of who is in office, must adhere to the Insurrection act before acting upon it. When the Local and State Govt failed their state ( they had 5 days to act..Katrina was going 9mph), and worse yet, failed to keep order in that state, then and only then can the Pres of US use the Insurrection act..which was done. I am shocked at Mr Bush's response of apology. He should have had the kahunas and called it what it was...the local and state gov't failed, and Insurrection was the only option. Even with that done, it takes more than one day to deploy military convoys of supplies, helicopters and so forth. That call should have been made to any Pres after day one. Again..MISS handled things properly, no reports of disruptive ongoings in that State. OK I'm done..
  • Ok reality.... This is all political rhedoric. If Donahue or O'reilley really cared about lives and how they are taken, they would look inside the US murder rates. Our military is in a true battle. I will never as long as I live bow too the east. The fact that they are using Iraq war and 2000 deaths of our soildiers is incredible. We can not even control or protect our own citizens. The drug and gang murders in this country are out of control. How do they expect to control the Iraq border of insugents. We can not control our own border. What are we thinking? We must bring the battle to terriost. Gangs and thugs must be considered terriost also. There were over 16, 000 murders in 2003 and we are showing great improvement. But nobody is cryhing about these murders because they go on unchecked or cared about because it is in our slums. We have another front here too!!! We should get busy and stop both. Yes continue in Iraq and start a campange here. We should not leave Iraq.
    We lost 2000 brave men in 2 1/2 years and that is terrible. But what about the murders of 16,000 plus a year here in the US by thugs, gangsters and illegals right here. We are at war over there and the numbers show we are more challanged here. My point only that both o'reilley and Donhue are policaly driven in their ideaolgies. Why is there not a big spotlight on this issue? Why are we turning our heads to this fact? Because there are agenda's to be filled. Do not take my word on murder statics, look for yourself. Do not use just my link but search it out if it is important to you. http://www.fbi.gov/ucr/03cius.htm Look for other links too.

    This country is hell bent on taking God out all that we do!! People are falling on all sides of this issue. That is the agenda I speak of. That is why there is such a proscution of GW Bush. It is ok too be athesist but your not ok to have a belief. Double standards. The science of evolution or intellgent design. Who is too say God did not create them all. What is the most ridiculous as Donhue complains on the deaths in Iraq. He would not think twice while screaming the deaths of our loved ones, while taking a coat hanger to a unborn soul in a heartbeat at the end of a 3rd tri-mester. Talk about double standards. He calls it choice. It is bigger then the holocust ever thought of being.

    Here is a prayer said in a state assembly resently.. Check it out!!

    \"Heavenly Father, we come before you today to ask Your forgiveness and to seek Your direction and guidance.

    We know Your Word says, \"Woe to those who call evil good\" but that is exactly what we have done.

    We have lost our spiritual equilibrium and reversed our values. We confess that.

    We have ridiculed the absolute truth of Your Word and called it Pluralism;

    We have worshipped other gods and called it multiculturalism;

    We have endorsed perversion and called it alternative lifestyle;

    We have exploited the poor and called it the lottery;

    We have rewarded laziness and called it welfare;

    We have killed our unborn and called it choice;

    We have shot abortionists and called it justifiable;

    We have neglected to discipline our children and called it building self-esteem;

    We have abused power and called it politics;

    We have coveted our neighbor's possessions and called it ambition;

    We have polluted the air with profanity and pornography and called it freedom of expression;

    We have ridiculed the time-honored values of our forefathers and called it enlightenment.

    Search us, Oh, God, and know our hearts today; cleanse us from every sin and set us free. Guide and bless these men and women who have been sent to direct us to the center of Your will, and we ask it in the name of Your Son, the living Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen\"

    It seems prayer still upsets some people. When Minister Joe Wright was asked to open the new session of the Kansas Senate, everyone was expecting the usual generalities, but this is what they heard.

    The response was immediate. A number of legislators walked out during the prayer in protest. In 6 short weeks, Central Christian Church
  • ??? !!! :shock: i thought the seperation of church and state was still in effect? Also that story is 9 years old now?
  • Seperation of church and state has only been redefinded by liberal idealogs in the last 40 years. So how old is that. So what if it is 9 years old. It is still the reason I will be persecuted by the likes of you. I give you your right to exsist in all your athistic ways. I have nothing against you and your beliefs. But I will not let you tell me if I can pray or where I can pray. Or why I should not pray. America was built on the standard that I have my rights and you have your rights. So please do not try to act like you better then me because I mentioned something 9 years ago.
    You can spew all you want but please do not get personal with your clever enuendo's. You are not better then me in any form. We are created equal.

    All you on the left take your pot shots...it is to be because you can't stand a person that has their own or different view point. Which is why you all go after those with christian belief. But on the other side of your mouth you say it is all freedom and choice, unless your a anglo christian type. Then in the far left's eye you have no rights. That is going to stop, you watch.
  • Armada,I take it your a christian?more people have been killed in the name of Jesus Christ than any other religion.I have read the entire Bible and have studied,boken down,and philosiphised the 4 gospels very intently with many educated and non educated people(my step-father and mother are pastors),and I have a very,very,concise view of who and what Jesus Christ is and represented(Whom I think is the most perfect example of humanity there was,along with Ghandi).The majority of people who are \"christians\" or claim to be have no idea what it is to be a christian.For example,the ultimate sin in god's(Jesus) eyes is to take a human life(he destroyed the population three times because of this),no matter how one is proveked(If one slaps you on the right cheek,turn to him so he may slap you on the left),also beyond that according to Jesus it is just as much of a sin to talk bad about your brother(friend,Osama,terrorist,ect..),and according to God(Jesus) EVERY HUMAN BEING IS YOUR BROTHER,like it or not.The majority of this country is christian,right?...Based on the rules of YOUR religion,if you support the war and including the people(Troops) that fight the war or any war,YOU are going straight to hell(DO NOT PASS GO,DO NOT COLLECT 200$).I have yet to meet or talk to ANYBODY that can give me a rebuttal to that.Ignorance of the law wont hold up in any court,and wont hold up in God's eyes either I imagine when you are \"Judged\" before him.Do you think violence and force of any kind works and is the only way?.......Ghandi will Forever prove that false.So when you wonder why people scoff at \"christians\",just remember to people like me,we view christianity and hypocracy as synonomous.
  • I was not taking out anything personal on you. I guess it wasn't that long ago if you put it into the time frame of decades. A lot of people in the church were for a seperation between church and state hundreds of years ago and still are today. We have got along just fine, lets continue along this path.
    :wink:

    jay7590 you are the true example thank you for your statement. You said,

    If one slaps you on the right cheek,turn to him so he may slap you on the left. That is where you are wrong. That is why we need Christ. If someone slaps me I am kickin the snot out of them. That is why I need Christ cause I aint perfect. It is by his blood and grace I am saved. But worldly people think that when you are saved/believe that you should act perfect but we/i am human and will never be perfect. Since your quating verses it says those who live by the law are judged by the law. I am covered by his perfectness. Christ is is Son of God delivered to be a sacrifice for all that believe. Gandi was a man and only a man. Just like you and I. There for I do not live by the law but try to up hold it. I also know, \"If any man says he is perfect he is a liar\". Another quate. So I give you right to exsist... like you should give me. But you can not because of the hate you have for believers. So do not look to me for an example cause the only way I will see heaven is by the Blood Of Jesus...Period. It will not be for what I've done or will do. Because no one is perfect not even you.

    D.Alexander I agree with you 100 %. That is why I tryed not to seem like I was attacking you. I am not here to fight personaly with anyone.
    I clone your last statment to you .

    Now with that said, please you people on left stand up and take your shots. You will feel better and prove my point. :wink:
  • By the way Armada,you MUST \"bow\" to anybody and everybody,because at the heart of true CHRISTIANITY(defined by me as truly understanding and embracing the teaching of Jesus and walking knowingly at all times in his shadow),is humility.If thats to tough for you to do,go by the name of what you really are..............an American.
  • Now with that said, please you people on left stand up and take your shots. You will feel better and prove my point.
    like i said earlier some of my best freinds are from the far right, I think that it's simply because they have a great sense of humor (or at least i think), anyways that was funny! :lol:
  • I bow to no one but Christ. Thou shall have no other Gods before me.

    Bow to that!! I am human and not perfect and will flame with the best. I cower from nothing because no one is bigger then my God.

    So go light a incense and enlighten your tiny little mind.

    GO ON BOW!
  • this is getting to black and white, us / them. We could dumb it down another notch but somebody is going to get the boot and nobody wants that.
    i know there has to be somthing else that is equally as interesting on this board.
    laters taters
  • Gotch ya....Christ would say

    Be kind to others, for I love them just as much as I love you. They may not dress like you, or talk like you, or live the same way you do, but I still love you all. Please try to get along, for My sake. I created each of you different in some way. It would be too boring if you were all identical.
    Please, know I love each of your differences.

    It is easy to study and tell people how to act or be Jay. But for me I will embrace my humaness with as much humility that was ingranded in my brain. I am sanctified at a certain level right now and it is good. I will grow and maybe I will reach YOUR lofty expetations, but then again who are you? God knows my heart and is much less critical then you . I will continue to follow Christ and you can live up to your own expetations. I doubt you or any one can!!! That is why we need Christ. Because of the self-rigtheous. Remember the Pharisees.
