Cool Firefox extension for guitarists
This adds a guitar tool bar to your Firefox browser. It displays chords, scales, modes, intervals etc. Even generates tones for tuning (requires Quicktime).
Guitar Toolbar
Works in Mac, haven't tried it in Windows yet, but I'm sure it will work fine in Windows also. Does NOT work in Linux

Totally assploded my Firefox browser. Had to switch back to IE. Tried uninstalling FF and reinstalling, no luck there! I can see it running in the task manager but the browser window won't open. How can I get my FF back?? No system restore on this machine. Totally sucks!!!
Kenny, did you follow the instructions correctly? It notes that you must first download the JSLIB first, restart FireFox, and then download the Guitar Toolbar. I am assuming this is your problem. However, I am not sure how to fix your problem. You may want to use IE and go back to the Guitar Toolbar download page and download the JSLIB. Then try to restart FF.
Mozilla Suite (Windows) fails to start
If Mozilla Suite fails to start following a reinstall of windows or registry change (including System restore on Windows Me/XP), you'll need to delete the \"GRE\" folder found in C:\\Program Files\\common files\\mozilla.org and then reinstall Mozilla Suite. (Bug 211694)
If it's running in your task manager but you can't bring up the browser window, do a ctrl/alt/del to bring up your running processes. Shut down Firefox from there and then restart it. That may work. I've had trouble in the past with plug-ins crashing the browser, and that was the \"fix\" I found on the Mozilla support forum.
If you didn't install JSLIB, uninstall the guitar tool bar, shut down firefox, restart it, then go install JSLIB, shut down Firefox again, restart it then
install the guitar toolbar.
Don't know if any of that will help. Hope it does.
Again, I'm really sorry that screwed up your browser, man. I shoulda tried it out on my Windows machine first before I posted it.

Not your fault Tod.
I rather this:
http://www.nrgcreations.com/Interchart/
This is the site that all the icons link to. You could just put that in your favorites toolbar, and get essentially the same effect. It's just a couple extra steps to get the same info. Not as pimpin' though 8)

I, however do like this plug-in. Going to bookmarks, etc. is extra steps. I really like the toolbar and have already used it somewhat extensively. I alway have the PC up and running. Connecting to the GNX, etc. Nice to have some quick icons to get to some scales, modes, etc, when warming up. Nice tool as far as I'm concerned.
Thanks again ANR.
