A note to Admin- This new message board is great...But

I have to comment that this message board is great in comparison to the standard site. A few comments though ( Meant to be constructive!)...

- I have a hard time finding links to this message board through the main Digitech Web site. There is no viable link to it that I can see......Or even a link to it from the Guitarsworkstation.com site.

- Having the Patch library/Songs and message boards separated in this manner makes the overall experience feel a bit disjointed.

I realize that \"Admin\" (Connie) is likley only overseeing this piece so I hope there are plans by Digitech Marketing Communications to \"Bring it all together\". In the end, I think it will help Digitech the most.

As far as members' music/patches go. I think it would be great if two more forums were created in each section (GNX3, GNX4, GNX3000) - one for patches and one for music. I don't mean uploading, because you can very easily upload your stuff to DT site and insert the links pointing directly to the file into the thread. Having one common forum for patches reviews seems a bit illogical since GNX3/4 and GNX3k patches are not compatible.

I agree with you on the patches forums. The biggest thing that I think about is a new user who wants to get HERE from the main site doesn't really have any access right now unless they were monitoring the boards when Admin made the announcement. I understand the advantages to go to a php based system here but it doesn't seem like anyone (Line6, for example) has clear, cohesive movement to and from Patches to the Forum and back again, etc. (Since there are already links on the top of the page here, it isn't an issue on this new forum)

Just adding the links on the DT main page to here and incorporating the same Site theme accross the whole site would push this to the next level me-thinks IMHO....

Actually, that's the plan TLF. Soon everything will be more seemless than it is now.

Due to unforseen circumstances (the loss of data on the old forums last weekend) Connie decided to expedite opening these forums in the interest of not losing anymore data. Eventually the links to the message boards on the old site will point directly here. There are already links back to the old site here (the small circular images in the bottom right of the main header graphic at the top of these forums).

Soon things will be more integrated than they are right now.
