Phonic PAA3

I got the chance to play with the PAA3. I tried using the pink noise in several locations and using the EQ setting program. I made the suggested adjustments and listened with my ears. The suggestions seemed to improve the sound. The engineer that was adjusting our church sound system also used one but he made it clear that it was only a tool he used in addition to his "experienced ears."

Anyone else have an comments on the 3 or the PAA6? There seems to be mixed opinion on it. The smaart guys obviously think it is a toy.

    Pretty much, but if all you need is an RTA like the Phonic, the current "SMAART Tools 1" app for the iPhone offers a high res RTA selectable to 1/48th octave.
