Driverack crossover setting

Hello forum,
Just curious on some ideas for crossover and other settings for my PA using the Driverack PA, as the speakers and amps I have are not listed in the Wizard. Here's what I'm running for my 7 piece GB/club band:
Mains: pair JBL MRX 515s powered by QSC PLX 3402 stereo
Subs: pair JBL JRX 118s powered by QSC GX5 stereo

Also any eq and other tips are greatly appreciated.
Oh, and sometimes for smaller gigs I leave the subs at home and have a separate program on the driverack for it.

Thanks so much for everyone's help and input.

Mike

    Auto Eq.. the basics..

You'll find that amp power and the speakers natural 3db down point are good starting points to consider. The GX5 is not bridgeable from what I understand, so you have only stereo as you are doing. Therefore a 2x3 (use the parallel feature on the GX5) or 2x4 is possible. Unfortunately those aren't subs but more like lo mids.. and @55 hz they are 3 db down...so I'd set a BW18@ 55hz.. HPF...Why did you get subs that don't even go as low as the tops can? I mean the MX515's are 3db down @ 52 hz...makes no sense to me... but...The LPF isn't as big an issue as you have decent power in bridged mono, but your short in stereo (700 watts on a speaker that can handle up to 1600 watts peak..that's the headroom you really should have to keep from blowing drivers) so in stereo I'd set a 100-118hz LR24 filter for the cross from the subs to the tops...that will minimize the LF in the tops so they are clearer in the low mids...

As for eq.. I don't have any of those speakers.. but as I indicated the auto eq can help.. you need the measurement mic though...
