can i only use the dbx px as a limiter ,i mean not to use all the other coponents as speaker crossover ,eq ,etc.
please let me know what is the best configuration for limiter compressor for speaker protection.

The simple answer is yes, but I (we) could give a better answer is we knew your gear and intended use.

yes, you could... but I'd let the speaker (we ARE talking about the powered RCF's? right...) do that since they have a built in limiter.. if you REALLY want protection get the 260 with it's brick wall limiters...
