NI-900 crashed hard, any way to save it?

I have a NI-900 that worked a couple of day ago, but now I think either the flash died or the low level disk format got glitched badly.
It doesn't like IP changes so I can only connect via serial, but Netlinx Studio can't talk to it at all.
I tried 'disk clean' but I get an error message "Cannot open directory doc"
Is it toast?

I see a phone call to AMX Tech Support and a possible RMA in your future...

Have you tried restarting the master with the "program run disable" dip switch (#1) on? I've been able to reestablish a connection with NetLinx Studio by doing that after a program went haywire. If that doesn't work, maybe see if it lets you reload the firmware.
If there was a brownout or power surge and the master wasn't protected, corrupt flash is a possibility. Unfortunately on the NI-900 the flash is not removable, so you'd be looking at an RMA.
