Samsung LED TV IR crazyness

Hi all,

I've been trying to get IR to work on a Samsung LED TV (UA40D6003). Captured all the IR codes from the hand control. All work fine except for the all-critical POWER!!! Verified irl file with master, actuated with different burst timings - all to no avail.

Has anyone got these to work??

Nope they did not work. Power activated the new Samsung Smart Hub screen.

The following thread over at remote central was a godsend when I had to swap out a sony recently for a samsung.

There is a hex file with every combination of each samsung code (255 in total) that cover every function for all samsung models.

from there I was able to use other info in the thread to build my own IRL for the display (can't remember the model but I can dig out the IRL if needed - it is nowhere near complete so I haven't attached it here).
