PLK-DMS Firmware

Anyone know if it's possible to update the firmware on a PLK-DMS? I think 5.16 is the current and I have a client with 5.13 in his pads and one of the differences is temperature levels, which don't work properly before 5.15.

If I remember correctly it's a chip change, not a software update?
