hi,
Since the NS3.x has problem with TCP/IP for controller with some old firmware, I need NS v2.x. However, I can't find the latest v2.x from Archive page on AMX application files. By any chance if someone know where I can download the NS2.x?
Thanks,
Aldous

In fact, I have NS2.1 but I believe that it is not the latest of 2.x. I'm hoping to get the latest version in v2.xTurnipTruck wrote: »What controller issues are there? -
Tech Support?
Have you called or emailed AMX tech support? I don't see why they couldn't get it to you, unless you don't have a valid dealer number. -

AMX support will put it on the FTP server for you to download. -
AMX support said that they can't help with end user. However, I don't have any dealer who can help me. Could anyone help me to get the Netlinx studio 2.x, please? Thank you.AMX support will put it on the FTP server for you to download.

Short answer: No.
Long answer:
What you are saying is this:
1) You're not a dealer.
2) You don't have a dealer.
I see two very simple solutions:
1) Call AMX and ask them to refer a dealer to you. This dealer will not (read SHOULD NOT) give you the software, but instead fix your problems.
2) Become an AMX dealer yourself.
What I am super curious about is, if you're an end-user, how do you have access to the downloads? Seems very fishy to me and not kosher. -
Are you sure about that? Have you consulted the list? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kosher_fish_listSeems very fishy to me and not kosher. -

The better solution, IMO, is to upgrade your firmware. Even older hardware has versions that should be fine with the new NS, including the ones that don't support Duet.
I might add, even if your hardware is ancient, you can get cheap masters on eBay that are current.
