Has anyone actually tried to control a IS-200/2000 player yet from a processor? I started looking into it but there is absolutely no documentation on it.

I recently received a note from Technology that the updated documents(including Netlinx controll) are now uploaded to amx.com. Local reps are informed to inform you...
Try downloading the latest documentation (i haven't yet), or contact Tech-Group.

Take a look at the Operational Reference Guide. Beginning on PDF Page 36, there is an entire section on external control - to include from a Netlinx master. If the document alone does not solve your problem, contact technical support either by phone or email and they should be able to assist you the rest of the way.
