AXC-EM and AXC-S card frame Slave mode to NI- master

We are adding a NI-master to an existing AXC-EM card frame. Do I pull the AXC-EM card and renumber the Axlink Dip switch on the AXC-S card to renumber the card slots in the frame. Or can we just pull the Enhanced master card leave the card frame as System 1 and leave the NI master as system 0?

    G'day Brian,

    Yes, remove the AMC-EM card (and throw it away).
    The dip switch on the AXC-S does not set the system number but the device number.
    Whatever number you set the dip switch to, that will be the device number of the left most slot in the frame.
    So you can leave the dip switch setting where it is.
