AMX transmit question

I have an NI-3100 and sometimes the device is doing a transmit in port 1 of the device but nothing is connected to this port.
What can be the problem?

Do you mean rs232 port 1? (the actual port 1) or port 1 of ir/whatever?

I've never seen that it does but I'll check on my 2100 here. Else it might be in your code.

It's either stray code or something wrong with the controller. You can try resetting it by issuing a reboot to the controller device number via Telnet (reboot 5001), but I strongly doubt it will make a difference.
