Verizon FIOS IR and XCH

Client has two Motorola FIOS Boxes (6416 and 7216). The 6416 runs great with CTOFF of 2 and CTON of 1. Using XCMH-2 for sending favorites to box. The 7216 is sluggish and won't consistently send the 3digit channel. Anyone have good parameters for Motorola FIOS boxes. Each model seems to have certain settings that work well. All boxes use the same remote model.

    Motorola boxes are very sensitive and you can overload the IR. I've had reasonable success sticking the emitter next to the IR window rather than right on top of it.

    Other than that, I use a CTON of 3 and CTOFF of 5 (default).
