Capturing IR with Metreau 6N

Can anyone confirm if it is possible to capture IR commands with Metreau 6N keypad ?

You can receive AMX IR codes with them, but no you cannot capture third party IR

AMX manufacture a device called IRIS (http://www.amx.com/products/IRIS.asp) for this exact purpose. Alternatively you can create your own IR files form hex codes that can be found on various universal remote and enthusiast sites. If you do a quick search of this forum there are a few threads that will point you in the right direction.
