Yamaha RX-V1600 Serial Control Anyone?

Greetings,

I am about to dig into a system that has a Yamaha RX-V1600. I would like to control serial. Anyone tried? Any problems?

    All my previous experiences with Yamaha were pleasant. I have integrated 1700, 1800, 1900 and the protocol is fundamentally the same, except for the extra inputs added with newer versions. So, I would not imagine 1600 as anything different.
    I would go with full confidence if I was you. Just remember to enable RS232 control in standby, if not already.
