MVP5200i and MET-ECOM

in AMX General Discussion
I have to integrate Two MVP5200i and One MET-ECOM (no SIP Gateway in the picture).
AMX is currently providing 2 modules:
1. The "AMX Intercom Panels & Metreau Entry Communicators" created in 2006 and last updated in 7-31-2008
2. The "AMX Netlinx Voice & Video Communications Module Interface" first released in 4-7-2009

Any recommendation on the one to use more than the other?
My guess is number two would cover an integration with a SIP Gateway too; but does it necessarily require a SIP gateway? And since we are not going to use a SIP gateway, would #1 module the only way to go?

    If you don't need the SIP gateway stuff then just go with number 1.
