Sharp Aquos with USB Port

I have a Sharp LC-32SB24U that has a USB port. Has anyone ever tried using Sharp Aquos USB port for control?

All the Aquoses I've seen with USB ports have only had them to do a USB drive connection for firmware updates - no means for control...
