RS232/485 COM controller for Notebook

Can somebody suggest RS232/485 COM controller for notebook. I haven't that one on my pc. I heard that Argosy controller is good but maybe there are something else too that works in DOS.

Optically isolated USB > RS232/485/422. no separate power supply needed
There are very reasonable priced. They also make lots of other converters / controllers.

I have USB one, but it's not working at all thaught maybe PCMCIA will. Aten usb to serial converter. Looks like not every device is good.

I have a Keyspan USB to Serial, it works vey well, and has a little status light so you can tell if it is transmitting
