Getting started

Hello All,
I am looking at becoming a new dealer. I will be programming the systems and I have some questions about getting the first system started.
We will order the Experience kit, should I plan on going to training before trying to do our demo house? Or is the software simple enough to get started with a simple interface? I have a computer science background.
If you had it all to do over again, would you jump in as soon as you get it? or wait until after training?
thanks

I would jump in right away. Factory training is a good thing to get, especially with the NetLinx product.
Being a dealer that has been selling AMX since the old SX/DCU days, and one of the first outside programmers, the training has been a great help. It always gives you a different view on how to do things.
