Anyone found a good water proof RF remote?

Hello all,
I'm planning on putting a water proof RF remote in a pool and/or Hot Tub to give the user some basic controls (Volume up/down, mute, system off)
I'm looking for something that will output RS-232 commands that I can grab and use.
Any ideas?
thanks in advance.

RTI has one called the U1. We use the T2+ with AMX RF codes for a cheap AMX solution for bedrooms, guest suites, etc.

Thanx!
From what I see we'd need:
U1 Waterproof controller
CM-232 Serial Communication Module
RP-6 Remote Control Processor
Theatre Touch Designer Software
This would essentiall enable me to take a button push from the U1 remote and have the RP-6 output some kind of hex string of my choosing to an RS-232 port on AMX and then do thus and so...
OR
can this remote speak directly to an AMX wireless reciever?
is so?
If so..
thanks so...
much -
I cannot say for sure about the U1 specifically but,
The RTI T2+ and RTI T1 remotes (with approriate firmware and AMXRF codes from RTI),
Can communicate directly to an AMX AXR-RF (433Mhz).
I don't see why the U1 wouldn't be able to do the same. -
I'll second what Kenny said. That's what we do with the RTI T2+; we get the AMX RF reciever and have the NI-x000 controll whatever it needs. A word of caution: you CAN have two RTIs talk to one AXR-RF and control two rooms, but just make sure they're not two rooms that would be used at the same time. The RF reciever can't distinguish two presses at once. Also - watch out for RF interference - we had a security system that was using RF and that frequency was 431Mhz and it was very noisy - messed with the RTI.
Anyway - hopefully all this helps and let us know what you wind up doing. -
The U1 does work with the AXR-RF 433, just need to make sure you have the correct version of firmware loaded on it.
So the equipment you'd need would be:
U1 remote
AXR-RF 433, and an axlink connection between it and your master controller. -
Thanks folks! You've been very helpful. A waterproof remote sure beats an old fashioned blade switch breaker for controls in the pool/hot tub.

one more thing
One more note getting the U1 programmed. You must call or e-mail RTI tech support to get the "special" codes, as well as a bug fix for their TheaterTouch editing software. -
i dont know if its allowed, but i have the firmware + the amx rf codes for RTI remotes... Let me know if i should post them, but you shouldnt have any problems getting them from RTI too
