Sounds like a good idea, I'd use it.

firmware updates
I actually prefer to get an automated email informing when
new firmware or software is released. Then I can download
the individual files at my leisure. This eliminates a bunch
of unnecessary files being stored. I also keep specific files
in specific places on my laptop. -
I was thinking more along the lines to save time tracking down all the firmware files from the web site. I know that I have several different types of AMX eqipment on campus and I am unable to always be on top of every firmware update. Also what happens if for some reason you fail to to get or read the email about the newest releases? Like I said all I am looking for is a software that would be much like 'webupdate' to track and download any of the firmware files that I have selected it to do so. If these could be save to a firmware folder on your drive that could be accessed at your own time and chosing. It would also be nice to have a sub folder that would hold the last 1-2 firmware updates just encase this one decides to crash your system.
