Problems with module Hitachi_CMP4201_v1

Hi,
I try to control a hitachi plasma (42PMA500) and i see that the protocol RS232 is the same that CMP4201.
My problem is the module works fine only to send 2 commands, after that the NI don?t send nothing to the port RS232 assign to the device (Hitachi).
For example, i can turn on and turn off, when i try to turn on again i don?t have communication with the device (The red led TX don?t fhashes ).
can anybody help me??
Thanks

I'm just offering an educated guess here, but does it work perhaps like the Sharp LCDs? With those, you have to turn off the power saving mode, or the serial port goes off line when the set is off.

Some NEC's also have this feature Dave mentioned. Have you tried instead of the module to write just the on/off commands yourself and try them for awhile to you get them working 100% and then retry the module.
