Axcent 3 Locked Up

Hi all, I have an issue with an Axcent 3. The unit will power up, but no Axlink light blinks, and I have multiple LED's that stay on (i.e. RS232 xmitt for 2, 3, 4, 6, I/O 2 and 3, etc...) I opened the unit up and pulled the batteries hoping it would clear out the memory, but alas no luck.
So am I stuck sending it to Dallas?

Hi Shawn
I had a similair problem and I ended you pulling the CMOS batteries overnight. -
It's very rare, but I've known them to fail like that; might have to just send it to AMX.

I had an AXcentIII pro with the exact same problem. I had to send it to AMX for repair.

I guess I will send it in.
Oh well, I suppose I will have to bite and pay for Dallas to take a look at it! -
Salut Shawn
You don't mention how many devices that you are controlling, but it maybe just as cheap to upgrade to a NI-700. Faster, networkable and fairly cheap. When every I have an older processor fail I usually try to upgrade it, just a thought.
