Has anyone had success with geofencing triggers?

There are several apps that will allow triggers when a cell phone enters a geographical area. Lutron even uses it. Is there something we can use as an app that would work with AMX?

Not the most secure way, since you need to port forward your router to receive the data, but you can use IFTTT and a webhook to trigger an HTTP post event to your processor. There are tons of things you can do with IFTTT

IMO anything that is internet based and in the world of IOT is never reliable enough to sell, but can be mentioned as a "bonus" feature, with the understanding one day it may stop working. If its for your own house, yes it is reliable enough and accurate to around 1/4 mile of your given location.
