Hi Everyone
I just recieved the new NI-700 on my bench for a weeks evaluation. Just a couple of questions about things I noticed.
1- The reboot seems to take alot longer than the NXI-ME260 that I normally use. I was wondering if this is due to the unit looking for a server? I haven't assigned an IP to it as yet.
2- Can these units control another AMX controller that is in slave mode. I have several axcent III's that I would like to add this box to.

Thanks Suzanne and tech support for verifying the slow reboot question and the M/S question. The unit boots much faster now.

The slow reboot was indeed caused by not having the network plugged in(4-5 minutes). The box was going through its entire look up table trying to find a usable link. Once I assigned a static IP(I didn't bother to hook up to network afterwards because of the limited time I had the box) the box booted in the normal 30 sec's. I was able to to use the NI-700 to control an Axcent III that was in slave mode. Nice box good price.
