how can me tell on which NI900/700 is it possible to install the v4.xx Firmware with SMTP-Function?
Which ser-number are supported?

the easiest way is check the RAM/Disk size. It must be at least 64mb. If not, then you don't have the model.

Or look at the serial numbers.
Early 700's with 32 meg start "210503x....." and newer ones with 64 meg start with "210570x...."
All 900's have the larger memory.
